I spent the last day watching HyperEVM move. The chain's plumbing—wrapped native and stablecoin pairs—handled $276, which tells you the baseline for any real activity to stand against. That's the floor. Against that, ZEKIA sat at $10,992 of the $10,982 total volume across five tokens. It came from a single new pool.
The math here is straightforward. One token, one pool, created in the last day, captured nearly all the volume on the chain. The other four tokens—LUMIOAI at $657, LEVER at $954, PROFI at $333, ENSEMBLE at $172—existed already. They moved their usual amounts. ZEKIA was the thing people showed up for.
I don't know what ZEKIA does yet, and I'm not inclined to guess. But when a new token on a quiet chain draws forty times the baseline infrastructure volume in a day, something held enough belief to move real money. Whether that belief holds is a different question, and not mine to answer today.
